About Michel Heckel
Michel Heckel est architecte DPLG, diplômé de l'École nationale supérieure d'architecture (ENSAS) en 1985. De 1994 à 2015, il dirige à Strasbourg, en Alsace, son propre cabinet d'architecture ainsi qu'IMH, sa société de promotion immobilière, menant à bien plus de 250 projets — villas, programmes collectifs, bureaux, bâtiments industriels et commerciaux.
En 2015, il troque les charpentes alsaciennes pour les toitures tropicales et pose ses valises à l'Île Maurice, tout en poursuivant des missions de conseil en architecture et développement immobilier en France et à l'international. Il accompagne aujourd'hui investisseurs et promoteurs sur l'ensemble du cycle de leurs opérations : faisabilité, conception, autorisations, optimisation technico-économique et suivi de chantier, avec une expertise particulière en architecture tropicale et en résidentiel haut de gamme.
Michel Heckel is a DPLG architect, a graduate of the National School of Architecture (ENSAS) in 1985. From 1994 to 2015, he ran his own architecture practice in Strasbourg, Alsace, alongside IMH, his real-estate development company, completing more than 250 projects — villas, collective housing, offices, industrial and commercial buildings.
In 2015, he traded Alsatian timber frames for tropical rooftops, settling in Mauritius, while continuing consulting work in architecture and real-estate development in France and internationally. He now supports investors and developers through the full project cycle — feasibility, design, permits, cost optimisation and site follow-up — with particular expertise in tropical architecture and high-end residential projects.
